Ski Conditioning with Gavin McBride
A group based class focusing on the dynamic nature of skiing. Skiers need strength for turns, cardiovascular fitness for endurance and balance for slippery and unstable conditions. The hour long Ski conditioning class covers all each of those by combining body weight strength exercises, dynamic jumping and balance movements with single leg stability training to help improve your skiing performance and experience. These exercises won't be you basic machine like movements, since being on the mountain requires you to functionally control your own body during movement. In addition, beginners and experts alike will benefit as exercises can be modified to individuals level of fitness and physical capacity. Come join your fellow ski enthusiasts and start your ski season the right way.
