Cycling with Julie
Julie's class offers an upbeat high-quality workout for both serious cyclists and
non-cyclists. Using proven training practices and great music,
the participants are challenged with a variety of high-intensity
intervals interlaced with active recovery. The music ranges from such classic
greats as Creedence Clearwater and Aretha Franklin to the latest hits from Lady
GaGa and Rihanna. The music has been selected for its motivating beat and
drives the cadence of the set, primarily within the 80-100 rpm range (lower for
standing climbs). For a good time (and a great workout), meet at 6pm on
Wednesdays in the cycling studio at American Athlete.
